		<description>OpenOffice is not even a patch against MS Word. It is very slow to open, is dependend on Java, and is also not even compatible with other open source office suites in it’s own native document format.

If you don’t want to buy MS Office, but would rather go with something more native to Windows itself, you should try SSuite Office for a free office suite. They have a whole range of office suites that are free for download. 

Their software also don’t need to run on Java or .NET, like so many open source office suites, so it makes their software very small and efficient.
